Missing Roofer Located 'Safe And Sound,' Police Say

A Stamford man who had been missing for days after leaving a Shippan bar has been located.

The Stamford Police Department said Tuesday, Aug. 13, that Mariusz “Marco” Gibas, 37, "had been found safe and sound."

Gibas had been missing since Wednesday, Aug. 7, as he was leaving Fiddler's Green on Shippan Avenue and walking toward Cummings Beach, said the Stamford Police Department.
